StoryFest Inc hosted a fundraising event on Saturday 21 July 2018 at the historic Milton Theatre which sold out. The highlight of the evening was a very special 'in conversation' with Markus Zusak, one of Australia's most loved authors.
Don't worry if you missed out. You can hear the whole thing on the Writes4Women podcast.
You'll find some wonderful photos from the night in our Gallery.
Our Storytelling competition was open to Shoalhaven children and adults who embraced this year’s theme ‘Footprints in the Sand’
The competition is now closed. Thank you to everyone who entered. Your work will be read by some of Australia’s most experienced authors and you’ll be in the running for some very cool prizes, not to mention a place on the 2019 Honour Roll.
We’ll post the longlist in our May newsletter so subscribe here to get the news first!
We have an exciting line up for Day One of StoryFest. Do you love crime fiction? Join us for a conversation with Michael Robotham, Candice Fox and Christian White. More of an historical fiction buff? Have dinner with Natasha Lester and Lauren Chater at Tallwood. If you’ve always wanted to write fiction, spend the day with creative writing teacher Emily Maguire. If illustration is your passion, book in for Julie Sydenham’s artistic workshop. Tickets now available. View the Program here.
