Do I need to buy tickets to attend StoryFest events?

Yes. All events require bookings. Events do sell out quickly, so we recommend you book your tickets in advance on our website - https://www.storyfest.org.au

How do I book?

The best way to book tickets for StoryFest events is via our website https://www.storyfest.org.au. Simply click the Book Tickets button on the page of the event you want to attend.

What is your Ticketing policy in relation to COVID-19?

Bookings affected by changes to NSW Health guidelines that prevent an event from taking place will be issued a full refund. If you or a member of your party are unwell and are therefore no longer able to attend an event, you can exchange your tickets for a credit voucher (valid for three years) for tickets purchased from StoryFest Inc. Please get in touch with our team at info@storyfest.org.au.  

Can I refund or exchange my tickets? 

StoryFest Inc regrets that it is not possible to refund completed bookings, except as required by law or in accordance with the LPA Ticketing Code of Conduct

What happens if I lose my tickets?

If you can’t access your e-ticket(s), please contact StoryFest Inc at least one hour prior to the event to have a ticket reissued. You can do this during the event by visiting the StoryFest Inc Box Office, which is located beside the bookshop on the lower level of the Ulladulla Civic Centre, by emailing info@storyfest.org.au, or by phoning [TBA].

What happens if I am running late for an event? Do I get a refund on my ticket?

Being late affects the event participants and the audience. StoryFest Inc reserves the right to exclude latecomers to certain events or to admit them only during a suitable break in the proceedings. Check the time on the ticket and plan ahead. StoryFest Inc regrets it is not possible to refund a missed event.

Fees and charges

The ticket prices listed on the website are inclusive of GST and booking fees. 

What is the “Donation” ticket?

As a non-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers, StoryFest Inc endeavours to keep all our costs and ticket prices as low as possible. If you are in a position to be able to help support our event, we would be grateful! 

One way of doing this is to add an amount to your ticket purchase, using the Donation ticket. For example, if you added between 5% and 10% of your ticket purchase, this would cover direct costs such as our booking fees.

Please note that this donation would not be tax deductible.

Program changes

Every effort has been made to ensure program details are correct; however, details are subject to change where necessary and without notice. Please be advised that event speakers and/or content may be subject to change. We cannot refund these tickets if the event itself still will be taking place.

How do I book accessible tickets?

StoryFest Inc strives to make its events available for all to enjoy. All Festival venues are accessible, including wheelchair and level access. Please email us after you’ve purchased your tickets to secure your accessible position - info@storyfest.org.au

Can I buy tickets on the day?

Yes, subject to availability. The StoryFest Inc Box Office is located by the Main Auditorium doors on the upper level of the Ulladulla Civic Centre. We recommend booking online to avoid box office queues. Tickets will also continue to be available to purchase online prior to the event starting (subject to availability).

Am I eligible for a concession price?

Concession prices are available for children under the age of 16, full-time students, Health Care Card holders, Senior Card holders and Pensioner Concession Card holders. You will be asked for proof of concession upon entering venues.

Ticketing Terms & Conditions

  1. The right of admission is reserved by the venue’s management.

  2. The right is reserved to vary, substitute or withdraw advertised programs, artists, venue and seating arrangements as necessary.

  3. This Ticket is only valid when purchased from an authorised agent.

  4. Generally, there is no right to refund or exchange except as required by law, and/or as provided in the Industry Ticketing Code of Practice.

  5. Cameras and other recording devices are prohibited in the venue’s auditorium.

  6. Mobile phones, pagers and similar equipment must be turned off or switched to silent before entry into the venue’s auditorium.

  7. The right is reserved to refuse admission to a ticket holder who arrives late to a venue. The ticket holder may not be allocated to their designated seat or area until there is a convenient break in the program or at interval, if any.

  8. Patrons who disrupt a performance, who are in use or possession of a prohibited device, or fail to produce a concession ID as appropriate may be asked to leave the venue without refund of ticket purchase.

  9. Tickets must be retained throughout the performance.

  10. If further conditions apply, they are displayed either in the box office or near the entrance to the venue. To obtain a copy of the LPA Ticketing Code of Practice, refer to www.liveperformance.com.au.
