Debra Oswald
Debra Oswald is a playwright, screenwriter and novelist. She is a two-time winner of the NSW Premier's Literary Award and author of the novels Useful, The Whole Bright Year and The Family Doctor. Her latest novel, 100 Years of Betty was published in March 2025. She was creator/head writer of the first five seasons of the TV series Offspring. Debra’s stage plays have been performed around the world. She has also written plays and novels for young audiences.
