LUNCH WITH LOVE

Kindness:
we can never have too much of it.

With that in mind, StoryFest 2025 would love to invite you to a very special session, The Kindness Connection, and to its close culinary cousin, the very first StoryFest Lunch with Love.

The Kindness Connection is a bold exploration of two lives that underline the importance of kindness and connection. Led by host Michelle Barraclough, adventurer, writer and Alone Australia alumni Gina Chick and social activist and founder of the Moroccan Soup Bar Hana Assafiri will discuss the importance of kindness, what it looks like and how it can transform the world.

As that discussion is underway, our friends from much-loved local Middle Eastern restaurant Nomah will be putting the final touches on a special soup menu co-created by Hana. The soup - served with delicious Lagom bread by volunteers from Milton Ulladulla District Soup Kitchen - will be free for The Kindness Connection audience, and available for a donation to everyone else. All funds raised will go to Safe Waters Community Care Inc.
