2023 SCHOOLS

PROGRAM

StoryFest 2023 again included a lively schools program in the week leading up to the main festival.

Five local schools participated, including Ulladulla, Milton and Sussex Inlet Public Schools, St Mary's Star of the Sea Primary School, and Ulladulla High School with over 2700 students attending - a record for StoryFest.

Leading Australian children's authors Sue Whiting, R.A. Spratt, Kate and Jol Temple, and Gus Gordon were on hand to inspire younger students - while Miles Merrill of Slam Poetry organisation Word Travels, and StoryFest Patron Markus Zusak, spent two high-energy days with Ulladulla High students. Olivia and Grug performed for kindergarten classes at Ulladulla and Milton Public Schools, thanks to the Ulladulla High Drama students.

For the first time, the Schools Program was delivered free to all schools and students - thanks to our valued sponsors and generous donors.

P.S. StoryFest was for adults, too! Be part of the story and see the whole 2023 Festival program here.
