The Seaweed, Sesame + Saltbush Sourdough STORY
Sourdough is always more than 'just' a loaf at Lagom – it’s baked with love and care every day. But this special Seaweed, Sesame + Saltbush Sourdough sums up our ethos and holds a particularly personal spot for me. It's a dough that goes deep. It’s bread that binds.
Connection to land: As someone with Indigenous blood, foraging and baking with native ingredients pays homage to this living land and cultural ties.
Connection to coast: Growing up on the South Coast, the ocean has played many roles – it’s been a teacher, it has influenced personal growth, it’s a contemplative space and somewhere to reset after a long morning of baking.
Connection to community: This loaf comes full circle, back to the very beginning of Lagom, with its distinctly Asian-influenced flavour profile. It punches with umami bite inspired by our Tallwood/Gwylo origins.
