The Milton, Ulladulla, Mollymook area is known for its fabulous food - but have you ever wondered about the stories behind the dishes we’ve all come to love? Here’s your chance to embark on a gastronomic journey that will reveal the inspiration and emotion that drives our area’s talented food creators.
Story on a Plate is an innovative culinary experience. It invites festival-goers to discover the rich narratives behind dishes at 10 of the region’s favourite eateries: Milk HAUS, Woodstock Chocolate Co., Rick Stein at Bannisters, Beurre Noisette, Cupitt’s Estate, Gwylo, Small Town Provisions, Lagom Bakery, Pilgrims and Native Cafe.

Each location will offer a StoryFest Special on their menus throughout June, complete with take-home story cards and video with the dish’s creator that gives the story about why that dish is so close to the hearts of those who made it. A desire to buy a farm, a trip to Italy, an inventive New Years Eve … you’ll hear heart-warming tales you never would have expected.
Create your own foodie trail throughout June, then grab some friends and meander through cafes, restaurants and bars with wonderful stories to tell. It’s a glorious way to cook up new connections.
