Untangling Fact from Fiction

Napoleon once said, “What is history, but a fable agreed upon?” With the boom in historical fiction and the continuing popularity of non-fiction work, we bring together historian David Hunt (Girt series), authors Eleanor Limprecht (The Coast) and Sue Williams (That Bligh Girl), and non-fiction writer Peter FitzSimons (The Battle of Long Tan) to explore the responsibilities of the writer creating historical works.

(To our mutual disappointment, Fiona Kelly McGregor was obliged to withdraw from this event.)
