The inaugural StoryFest was held in June 2019 and was an instant success. Attracting 580 patrons who bought over 800 tickets, it instantly garnered a reputation with the storytelling community, that StoryFest was a welcoming place to come, and was clearly here to stay. 

After a false start in 2020 due to the early impact of Covid, StoryFest 2021 snuck in before a nationwide lockdown, much to the relief of the organising committee and the delight of storytellers and audiences. 

The event doubled in size, creating a brilliant platform for the future of StoryFest. We look forward to welcoming you to StoryFest 2023.
